An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join the fast-paced and dynamic Intensive Care Unit at a private hospital in Adelaide. Multiple positions are available, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Caring for post-operative cardiothoracic and general surgical patients, as well as patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring dialysis, ventilation and non-invasive ventilation;
- Working in a fast-paced environment;
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while delivering safe, patient-focused care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA Registration;
- Minimum of 3 years' nursing experience in high-acuity surgical or Critical Care;
- Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards;
- Proof of immunity/vaccination to specified infectious diseases;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture;
- Committed to continuous quality improvement;
- Committed to the provision of quality nursing care, education and customer service;
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands;
- Ability to work flexible hours;
- Works well independently within a team with a 'can do' attitude;
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in an empathetic manner;
- Maintains accurate and effective record management systems;
- Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance.

REMUNERATION
$43.86-$54.90 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Adelaide, is a modern acute facility providing a range of specialties, including obstetric, cardiac, critical care, orthopaedic, surgical, and medical services. The Operating Suite comprises 9 Theatres and operates electively over a 6-day week.
