Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Midwife to join a supportive and collaborative team at a private hospital in Brisbane. This permanent part-time role, with up to 74 hours per fortnight and casual opportunities also considered, offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families through high-quality, compassionate maternity care.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care across the Maternity Ward and Birth Suites, supporting women and families throughout their maternity journey. Recent Birth Suite experience is essential, or a willingness to undertake further training and upskilling. You will bring a calm, confident and compassionate approach while helping create a safe and positive experience during one of life's most important moments.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum 12 months' post-graduate experience working in a hospital;
- Must have birth suite experience or be willing to upskill;
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster (including evenings and weekends);
- Excellent clinical documentation and handover skills;
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate of $39.96 - $54.01 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances.

The hospital, located in north Brisbane, is an acute facility providing a wide range of health services. The unit's key surgical specialities include Colorectal, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Breast and Endocrine, General Surgery, and Bariatric Surgery.
