An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a close-knit Critical Care team on a permanent part-time basis at a private hospital in Melbourne. Working within a supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. The successful candidate must be available to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the nursing team with the planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred patient care;
- Demonstrating professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, codes of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, policies and procedures;
- Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver safe and effective patient care;
- Delivering education and support to patients to promote health recovery, rehabilitation and end-of-life care;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety initiatives to achieve desired clinical outcomes;
- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs and optimise outcomes;
- Acting as a role model for safe, professional and patient-centred practice.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in ICU/CCU or ED;
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards:
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment;
- Excellent communication skills.

REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $36.13 and $48.32 per hour.
