Registered Nurse – ICU | Sydney

An exciting opportunity exists for experienced and passionate Intensive Care Registered Nurses to join a high-performing 19-bed ICU at a leading private hospital in Sydney. With a modern unit and diverse, high-acuity case mix, this role offers the opportunity to work to your full scope, collaborate with outstanding clinicians and continue developing your critical care expertise. Permanent full-time positions are available.

• Delivering safe, high-quality and patient-centred ICU care;
• Managing patients requiring advanced critical care interventions, including mechanical ventilation;
• Collaborating with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team;
• Supporting patients and families throughout recovery, rehabilitation and end-of-life care;
• Contributing to quality improvement, patient safety and clinical excellence initiatives;
• Acting as a role model for professional practice and compassionate care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA registration;
• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience, including mechanical ventilation;
• Australian working rights;
• Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care/ICU (or currently undertaking);
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Current Working With Children Check;
• Knowledge of and compliance with ACQSHC National Standards;
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (desirable).
