An experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse is invited to join the passionate General Surgical & Paediatric Team at a private hospital in Brisbane. This exciting full-time opportunity offers flexible 8 or 12-hour shifts with no on-call requirements, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekends. The 32-bed ward specialises in ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics, and Paediatrics, providing the ideal environment for an experienced surgical nurse to further develop their skills within a fast-paced, high-turnover unit.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to ACORN standards and Hospital policy and procedure;
- Providing evidence-based nursing care;
- Providing clinical expertise and depth to the plastics theatre teams;
- Liaising with the multidisciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Ensuring eLearning and mandatory training are completed on a regular basis;
- Liaising with surgeons regarding equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 5 years acute hospital experience as a Registered/Clinical Nurse;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Works well independently and within a team.

REMUNERATION
$53.44 - $57.18 per hour.
