There is a new opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join the Ward that offers one of the most comprehensive selections of surgical services, encompassing general surgical, vascular, and infectious disease patients at a private hospital in Perth. This is a part-time maternity leave cover position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:
- Delivery of high-quality patient care to a diverse range of acute care surgical patients;
- Coordinating and delivering comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, including complex wound management;
- Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of the Hospital;
- Your day-to-day operations will include problem-solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture, ensuring patient safety, and continuous improvement;
- Providing supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff within your team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia;
- A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including experience in General Surgical and Vascular;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
- Understanding the scope of practice;
- Ability to manage a designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators, and other quality projects.

REMUNERATION
$102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
