Clinical Nurse – Plastic Surgery | Adelaide

• Working cohesively and with initiative within a multidisciplinary team;
• Educating junior staff within the specialty;
• Managing and organising Plastic Surgery requirements for the department, including equipment, instruments, loan sets, and implants;
• Delivering evidence-based, high-quality clinical nursing care;
• Liaising with management, key stakeholders, and all staff;
• Supporting management while positively embracing change and new initiatives;
• Working effectively within a team environment while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA registration;
• Minimum 5 years' recent theatre nursing experience; 
• Previous experience working within a peri-operative environment, and/or surgical nursing;
• Sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation;
• Sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards; 
• Strategic-minded thinker;
• Ability to engage with all members of staff;
• Excellent communication style - written and verbal;  
• Ability to meet deadlines;
• Work collaboratively with the management team;
• Proficient in electronic databases and the ability to adapt to changing platforms;  
• Knowledge of labour management / KPIs.
