Excellent opportunities have become available for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Plastic Surgical Nursing to join a dedicated perioperative team at a private hospital in Adelaide. There is an availability of full-time and part-time roles.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will serve as a positive role model to your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and promoting the ongoing development of staff, while ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care are consistently delivered during surgical procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working cohesively and with initiative within a multidisciplinary team;
- Educating junior staff within the specialty;
- Managing and organising Plastic Surgery requirements for the department, including equipment, instruments, loan sets, and implants;
- Delivering evidence-based, high-quality clinical nursing care;
- Liaising with management, key stakeholders, and all staff;
- Supporting management while positively embracing change and new initiatives;
- Working effectively within a team environment while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum 5 years' recent theatre nursing experience;
- Previous experience working within a peri-operative environment, and/or surgical nursing;
- Sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation;
- Sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards;
- Strategic-minded thinker;
- Ability to engage with all members of staff;
- Excellent communication style - written and verbal;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Work collaboratively with the management team;
- Proficient in electronic databases and the ability to adapt to changing platforms;
- Knowledge of labour management / KPIs.

REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $53.24 -$58.04 per hour.
