A new possibility awaits a Clinical Nurse Specialist ready to make a lasting impact and shape the future of healthcare in a vibrant 22-bed acute Medical Ward. It is a permanent full-time position at a private hospital in Sydney.
POSITION OVERVIEW
In this role, you will not only elevate standards of care but also mentor and empower your team to achieve excellence together.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be:
- Delivering evidence-based care that sets the standard for excellence;
- Leading and mentoring your team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes;
- Delivering exceptional care to patients with complex medical, respiratory, and cardiology needs;
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- 4+ years' experience in Medical/Surgical nursing;
- Strong leadership and advocacy skills;
- Advanced communication and problem-solving abilities;
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster (including evenings, nights, and weekends);
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or in management (desirable);
- Post-graduate qualifications or willingness to study (desirable).
REMUNERATION
$57.12 - $63.37 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Sydney's North West, is a 277-bed high acuity facility. The Orthopaedic ward is a new 55-bed ward delivering exceptional care under a multi-disciplinary team. Patients are admitted for elective or emergency orthopaedic procedures. A friendly and supportive medical and allied health team works alongside the nursing staff to provide and promote specialised and dedicated care to the patients.
