A new possibility awaits a Senior Registered Nurse with a flexible, proactive and dynamic leadership approach to lead and nurture a 30-bed Public Surgical Ward, specialising in breast, urology and ENT, both elective and emergency admissions at a private hospital in Perth. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (50 to 60 hours/fortnight, night duty).
ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role, you will be:
- Promoting and supporting patient safety and positive public patient experience;
- Developing strong partnerships with Visiting Medical Officers;
- Facilitating and promoting the continuous development of clinical expertise and a culture that reflects the Hospital's values in your nursing team.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Acute Hospital;
- Effective change management skills and experience;
- Effective computer/digital skills.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
