The role can be full-time or part-time, with several shifts available, including weekends and after-hours clinics in locations such as Ascot, New Lynn, St Luke's, Otahuhu, Henderson, Glenfield & Whangarei.

ABOUT THE ROLE
A successful candidate should be an urgent care professional who demonstrates:
  • Skills in managing a broad range of acute presentations, from minor injuries to urgent medical conditions;
  • Confidence in performing procedures and minor trauma management;
  • Empathy, adaptation, and calmness under pressure;
  • Team player spirit and a willingness to join a multidisciplinary environment;
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ);
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand;
  • Current Medical Indemnity Insurance;
  • Current ACLS certificate;
  • Excellent English communication and documentation skills;
  • Familiarity with MedTech Evolution or similar systems (advantageous);
  • Commitment to health equity, cultural safety, and understanding of Māori tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
