Registered Midwife – Maternity | Melbourne

An exciting opportunity is available for a committed Registered Midwife ready to take the next step in their midwifery career in a private hospital in Melbourne. Permanent full-time and part-time roles working on a rotating roster are on offer.

As a Registered Midwife, you will play a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care across all stages of the maternity journey. You will work closely with obstetricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and their babies. This role will see you work a rotating roster; however, permanent night duty is available if desired.

• Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA;
• Minimum 2 years' experience in maternity;
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centred care;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• A passion for supporting women and families through their maternity experience.

REMUNERATION

$40.13 - $51.26 per hour.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a 93-bed specialist private hospital for women, including surgical and maternity units, a Level 4 Special Care Nursery, 6 birthing suites, 4 operating theatres, a day surgery unit and a urodynamics procedure room. The hospital specialises in obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, breast surgery, day surgery, reconstructive surgery, and plastic surgery, delivering the highest standards of care through skilled personnel and advanced medical technologies.
