An exciting opportunity exists for passionate and experienced Registered Midwives to join the Postnatal Ward Team at one of New South Wales' busiest private maternity units, located at a private hospital in Sydney. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Postnatal Midwifery Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital. You will work in an exciting and fast-paced environment where your skills and dedication will make a real impact on the lives of women and their families.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum three (3) years' experience working as a midwife post-registration;
- Experience in postnatal care is essential;
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, night shifts;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team as required.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate of $38.88-$54.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Western Sydney, is a modern facility with 12 Operating Theatres and two Cardiac Cath labs. The hospital performs a full range of elective surgeries, including cardiac, neurosurgery, urology, orthopaedic, gynaecology, colorectal, general, plastics, obstetrics, Paediatric, ENT, and Spinal Surgery. The 16-bed ICU provides specialised care for patients who require constant monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced respiratory, cardiac and renal support therapies.
