An exciting opportunity awaits a Registered Midwife to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team at a private hospital in Wollongong. This is a permanent part-time role where you can make a meaningful difference to the lives of the women and their families.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role offers the opportunity to work across all areas of Maternity. As a Registered Midwife, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, safe, and professional care to women and families throughout their maternity journey, supporting both low- and high-risk births.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife;
  • Minimum of 2 years' midwifery clinical experience;
  • Competency in CTG interpretation and epidural management;
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

ABOUT THE FACILITY 

The hospital, located in Wollongong, is a 171-bed private acute facility that provides all primary services, including an intensive care unit, 10 operating theatres, cardiac and vascular Labs, and an Endoscopy suite. Surgical specialities include Cardiothoracic, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, interventional cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, Head and Neck, Gynaecological, Urology, Colorectal, upper GI, General, Vascular, and Plastics. The Maternity Unit is made up of 4 birth rooms, 25 postnatal beds, and 7 SCN bays.
