ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Emergency Department team member, you will provide rapid, high-acuity care on a daily basis by continuously assessing and prioritising care, administering critical medications, and collaborating with medical teams to stabilize acute injuries and illnesses. As a member of the clinical team, you will be planning, evaluating, and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Clinical Nurses to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to patients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in an Emergency Care role;
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster;
- Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

REMUNERATION
$41.85 - $54.68 per hour.

The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
