Excellent opportunities exist for passionate and experienced Anaesthetic Nurses with a background in Theatre at a private hospital in Melbourne. There are permanent part-time roles available.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will see you performing duties in 5 operative theatres across a variety of surgical specialties, providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist. You will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient surgical outcomes while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum two (2) years Anaesthetic experience;
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patient;
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a dynamic clinical setting;
  • Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute 72-bed Surgical and Medical facility in Hampton's bayside suburb. The facility has 3 Operating Theatres, 2 Procedure Rooms, a Day Surgery unit, and a 4-bed High Dependency unit. It also offers on-site Radiology and Pathology services, Physiotherapy services, and busy specialist consulting suites. A comprehensive range of services is provided, including Breast Surgery, ENT, Gastrointestinal Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.
