An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join the Theatre Department at a private hospital in Sydney. This role is offered as a permanent full-time position, although permanent part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of the clinical team, you will be planning, evaluating, and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Coordinator to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to patients.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Medication endorsed (IV qualified);
  • Minimum 2 Years' experience in anaesthetics as an RN;
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster;
  • Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

ABOUT THE FACILITY 
The hospital is a 37-bed acute surgical and medical facility with three theatres. It specialises in Orthopaedic, Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive, Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeries, and Dental surgeries. The medical ward accommodates general medical and palliative care admissions.
