An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and confident Registered Nurse -Anaesthetics who takes pride in delivering exceptional care to join the team at a private hospital in Melbourne. This is a permanent full-time role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate care for patients before, during, and after surgery. You will coordinate with anaesthetists, surgeons, and the perioperative team to ensure excellence in patient safety and outcomes. You will also support the NUM and theatre managers in the efficient management of staff and resources within the perioperative department, ensuring achievement of excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practice and legislative requirements. You will provide leadership and support to all staff to ensure positive patient outcomes are achieved in line with departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in anaesthetic nursing;
- Any clinical leadership experience or postgraduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team;
- Excellent communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills;
- A flexible and proactive approach to patient care.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
