A new opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Angiography Registered Nurse to work within a busy Cardiac Cath Lab at a private hospital in Adelaide. This full-time role operates on a 24-hour on-call roster and requires flexibility to work varied hours from Monday to Saturday.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care to provide exceptional patient experiences;
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiac surgeons, nurses, technicians, and radiographers;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety through strict compliance with protocols;
- Providing patient education and post-procedural recovery support;
- Utilising industry-leading technology, including MacLab systems, and adapting to advancements;
- Maintaining accurate records and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA Registration;
- Current ALS-1 Certificate;
- Provides leadership within a team with a 'can-do' attitude;
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in an empathetic manner;
- Attention to detail and effective record management;
- Anaesthetic nursing skill desirable, but not essential;
- Ability to use initiative, multi-task and practice good problem-solving skills;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Confidence in scrub/scout/monitor (Maclab system);
- Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance.

REMUNERATION
$38.79 - $53.04 per hour.

The hospital, located in Adelaide, is a modern acute facility providing a range of specialties, including obstetric, cardiac, critical care, orthopaedic, surgical, and medical services. The Operating Suite comprises 9 Theatres and operates electively over a 6-day week.
