Registered Nurse – Angiography | Adelaide

A new opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Angiography Registered Nurse to work within a busy Cardiac Cath Lab at a private hospital in Adelaide. This full-time role operates on a 24-hour on-call roster and requires flexibility to work varied hours from Monday to Saturday.

As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care to provide exceptional patient experiences;
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiac surgeons, nurses, technicians, and radiographers;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety through strict compliance with protocols;
• Providing patient education and post-procedural recovery support;
• Utilising industry-leading technology, including MacLab systems, and adapting to advancements;
• Maintaining accurate records and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA Registration;
• Current ALS-1 Certificate;
• Provides leadership within a team with a 'can-do' attitude;
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in an empathetic manner;
• Attention to detail and effective record management;
• Anaesthetic nursing skill desirable, but not essential;
• Ability to use initiative, multi-task and practice good problem-solving skills;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• Confidence in scrub/scout/monitor (Maclab system);
• Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance.

The hospital, located in Adelaide,  is a modern acute facility providing a range of specialties, including obstetric, cardiac, critical care, orthopaedic, surgical, and medical services. The Operating Suite comprises 9 Theatres and operates electively over a 6-day week.
