Registered Nurse – Coronary Care Unit | Melbourne

An exciting opportunity is available for Registered Nurses with strong interpersonal and customer service skills to join a skilled team in a 17-bed standalone Coronary Care Unit at a leading private hospital in Melbourne. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your expertise in managing complex cardiac patients while being supported by a collaborative team and strong professional development pathways. Permanent full-time and part-time schedules are available. 

• Delivering evidence-based, patient-centred nursing care;
• Assessing, planning and providing care for patients with complex cardiac conditions;
• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team;
• Contributing to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement;
• Acting as a role model for best practice and patient safety;
• Educating and supporting patients and their families throughout their care journey;

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• Authority to Work in Australia;
• Working with Children check (if relevant);
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
• Postgraduate Certificate in Coronary Care or Critical Care, or minimum 2 years' experience in a CCU;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused;
• Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.

REMUNERATION

Salary ranges between $41.90 and $53.69 + 12.5% Super.
