Exciting opportunities await an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Day Oncology and Infusion Centre at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Registered Nurse, you will provide patients with dedicated and specialised care to which this 18-bed unit prides itself. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient. You will be reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and working alongside a supportive team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Two (2) Years postgraduate experience, ideally within an acute care environment;
- Central line management experience;
- Administration of chemotherapy;
- Cannulation skills;
- Minimum (2) years Medical - Haematology/Oncology nursing experience;
- An ability to provide clear patient education and instruction;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a health-care team and positively influence the performance of other staff.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital is located in Sydney's South and is an advanced surgical and acute medical facility. The hospital offers the latest 3D-spinal imaging, multi-disciplinary medical and nursing care, an ICU, and "one-on-one" physiotherapy and performs over 3000 orthopaedic procedures yearly. The Endoscopy unit is situated within The Day Surgery Unit. It consists of 3 procedure rooms and provides a range of procedures, such as diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy, ERCPs and Dental.
REMUNERATION
$36.65-$51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
