Exciting opportunities await experienced and motivated Registered Nurses with background experience in oncology to join the Day Oncology and Infusion Centre at a private hospital in Sydney. There are permanent full-time and part-time positions available, working Monday to Friday.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for the administration of chemotherapy and supportive treatment, education of treatment side effects, and the effective strategies for the management of these side effects. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide patient-focused care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum three (3) years in a hospital-based postgraduate role;
- Previous demonstrated experience in oncology;
- Understanding of cytotoxic medication;
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment;
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.

REMUNERATION
$40.24 - $56.52 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital is located in Sydney's South and is an advanced surgical and acute medical facility. The hospital offers the latest 3D spinal imaging, multi-disciplinary medical and nursing care, an ICU, and "one-on-one" physiotherapy and performs over 3000 orthopaedic procedures yearly. The Endoscopy unit is situated within the Day Surgery Unit. It consists of 3 procedure rooms and provides a range of procedures, such as diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy, ERCPs and Dental.
