Exciting new career opportunities are now available for Registered Nurses to join the Day Surgery team on a permanent, part-time basis at a leading private hospital in Perth. This position requires someone with flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the unit. You will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing patient-focused care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Recent experience in a surgical/medical ward;
- Perioperative or day surgery experience preferred;
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
