An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and passionate Registered Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit at a private hospital in Melbourne on a full-time or part-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for safe practice;
- Administering medications according to state law and organisation policy;
- Demonstrating ongoing commitment to professional development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Advanced level of clinical skills (desired);
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Authority to Work in Australia;
- Working with Children Check.

The hospital, located in southeastern Melbourne, is a state-of-the-art 147-bed hospital, comprising a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9-bed specialized Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialized inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Rehabilitation Services.
