An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and passionate Registered Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit at a private hospital in Melbourne on a full-time or part-time basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups;
  • Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
  • Acting as a role model for safe practice;
  • Administering medications according to state law and organisation policy;
  • Demonstrating ongoing commitment to professional development.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
  • Advanced level of clinical skills (desired);
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
  • Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
  • Authority to Work in Australia;
  • Working with Children Check.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

The hospital, located in southeastern Melbourne, is a state-of-the-art 147-bed hospital, comprising a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9-bed specialized Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialized inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Rehabilitation Services. The hospital has established an excellent reputation in the community for its high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction, and quality improvement.
