Outstanding chances await experienced Registered Nurses to join a busy Emergency Department on a permanent part-time or full-time basis at a private hospital in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care;
- Playing a key role in working within a high-performing team;
- Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Experience in ED/Critical Care/ICU is highly desirable;
- Triage experience preferable ;
- 2+ years acute hospital working experience;
- Working with Children check;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.

REMUNERATION
$34.56-$47.25 per hour

The hospital, located in Melbourne's northwestern suburbs, is a fully accredited 186-bed major surgical, acute medical, and emergency facility. With a 12-cubicle Emergency Department, 5 operating theatres, a 12-bed critical care complex, and a busy Day Procedure Unit, the hospital provides a wide range of services to its community. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT and gynaecology.
