Registered Nurse – General Medical and Cardiology | Perth

• Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care;
• Performing comprehensive nursing assessments and developing a person-centred care plan;.
• Providing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including post-myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmias;
• Assisting with the administration of medications, including cardiac-specific therapies, and monitoring patient response;
• Accurately documenting clinical observations, vital signs, and nursing interventions;
• Monitoring telemetry and supporting patients undergoing cardiac diagnostics and procedures;
• Educating patients and their families about their health condition, medications, and ongoing care;
• Collaborating effectively with medical, allied health, and support staff to deliver holistic care;
• Complying with infection control standards and workplace safety procedures;
• Participating in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent;
• Relevant experience in acute care settings preferred (medical or cardiology experience desirable);
• Competence in ECG interpretation and cardiac observation monitoring desirable.
