Registered Nurse – General Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation | Port Macquarie

Exciting opportunities are available to join the dynamic General Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation team at a private hospital in Port Macquarie. Permanent part-time positions are available on the General Medical and Surgical Ward, along with casual opportunities on the Rehabilitation Ward.

You will join a dynamic General Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a diverse range of surgical specialties. In this rewarding role, you will draw on your advanced clinical skills to provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care, working collaboratively within a modern and supportive environment.

• Current and relevant registration with APHRA;
• Minimum two (2) years in a postgraduate experience;
• Previous experience working across a surgical or rehabilitation ward;
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient;
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
• Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.

The hospital, located in Port Macquarie, is a 72-bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehab facility with 6 Renal Chairs and a Day Surgery complex. Comprehensive Medical/Surgical services are offered with 24-hour Medical Officer Support, including Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Bariatric and Vascular, Plastic & Ophthalmology.
