ABOUT THE ROLE
This role involves delivering high-quality patient care across General Medical, Surgical, and Rehabilitation Wards. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Team and Shift Leaders to ensure care is delivered in line with the Hospital’s values and strategic direction.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum two (2) years postgraduate nursing experience in general medical, surgical, or rehabilitation specialties;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus;
- The ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluatethe care delivery needs of patients;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Ability to work a rotating roster.

REMUNERATION
$38.88 - $54.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital is a 37-bed acute surgical and medical facility with three theatres. It specialises in Orthopaedic, Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive, Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeries, and Dental surgeries. The medical ward accommodates general medical and palliative care admissions.
