Registered Nurse – HDU | Melbourne

An exciting full-time opportunity is now available for a Registered Nurse to join the friendly team working within the unit that accommodates HDU, Orthopaedic, and Urology at a private hospital in East Melbourne. Shifts will primarily cover night duty, but you will be required to rotate to other shifts from time to time.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, compassionate, and effective care to patients with higher acuity needs;
• Providing clinical support within the HDU;
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have:

• Current Registered Nurse Registration with AHPRA;
• A sound clinical background;
• Commitment to patient-focused care and teamwork;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving skills;
• The ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment;
• Concise written and verbal skills.

With 11 general operating rooms onsite, key areas include Orthopedics, ENT/Otolaryngology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Paediatrics, Oncology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Rehabilitation, Urology, and Breast Cancer Surgery.
