An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to join the High Dependency Unit at a private hospital in Melbourne. This part-time role offers the chance to deliver advanced, patient-centred care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of a dedicated HDU team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform advanced clinical assessments, manage complex therapies, and respond promptly to clinical deterioration. You will work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to work with complex medical and surgical patients requiring close monitoring and specialised intervention.

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful, you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
  • Experience in HDU, ICU or acute medical/surgical settings;
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Commitment to safe, evidence-based practice.
