There are exciting opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Medical Ward at a private hospital in Hobart. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available. The 35-bed general medical ward provides care across a range of Medical, Oncology and Surgical specialities, with opportunities to support junior nurses and contribute to high-quality patient care. A variety of shifts are available across a rotating roster of early, late and night shifts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing evidence-based care;
- Liaising with the multidisciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Working with Children Check;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills;
- Works well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
REMUNERATION
$41.04 - $53.91 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Hobart, is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds providing a unique range of acute services, including general surgery, specialty care in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, breast, colorectal, oral, vascular, plastics, obesity surgery, and select surgery for paediatrics. The Maternity suites are designed on the contemporary labour/deliver/recover model, fitted with state-of-the-art technology, including K2 fetal monitoring systems, and provide various resources used during childbirth.
