Exciting opportunities are available for experienced oncology-trained Registered Nurses to assume the role in the Medical & Oncology Ward on a full-time or part-time basis at a private hospital in Melbourne. The successful candidates will have sound clinical skills, an interest in cancer care, and enjoy interacting positively with patients and their families.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your duties will encompass:
  • Providing evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multidisciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver patient care;
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health, recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs. 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;;
  • Working with Children Check;
  • Minimum of 2 years of Acute Medical Experience;
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Works well independently and within a team;
  • Basic computer skills.
