New opportunities have become available for dynamic Registered Nurses to join a professional Medical Oncology Unit at a private hospital in Melbourne. Multiple Full Time and Part Time roles are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Commitment to Quality Patient CareCompliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical Oncology, Palliative Care, or complex cases;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Works well independently and within a team;
- Basic computer skills;
- Competency in chemotherapy administration will be highly regarded;
- Working with Children check.
REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $35.33 and $47.25 per hour.

The Hospital, located south-east of Melbourne CBD, provides an extensive range of healthcare services, including a 24-hour Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Integrated Theatres, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Oncology services, and as providing a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services.
