A fantastic opportunity awaits experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses passionate about delivering high-quality patient care to join a private hospital team in Canberra on a permanent, full-time basis, with opportunities across Orthopaedics Scrub/Scout, Cardiac Scrub/Scout, and Anaesthetics. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment, with strong clinical leadership and ongoing opportunities to develop your skills.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multidisciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients to manage their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 3 years' current Perioperative experience in the specialty you apply for;
- Mako & Cori Robotic Arthroplasty experience (highly regarded);
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills;
- A collaborative, patient-focused approach;
- Flexibility to participate in on-call roster.

REMUNERATION
$40.97 - $55.37 per hour.

The hospital, located in Canberra, is a 148-bed acute private hospital that offers an exciting and diverse clinical environment where you can build your skills and be part of a high-performing team, with 9 operating theatres, a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab, a 22-bed Intensive Care Unit and an 18-bed Coronary Care Unit.
