Exciting opportunities have emerged for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join a busy and fast-paced Recovery Team at a private hospital located in Orange. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Recovery Nurse, you will provide post-operative care to patients after surgery or anaesthesia. This will include monitoring observations, managing pain, and watching for complications. You will also document patient progress, give medications and fluids as prescribed, and support safe discharge or transfer.
REQUIREMENTS
As the successful candidate, you will possess:
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum two (2) years of Anaesthetics, Scrub Scout, Recovery or perioperative experience;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus;
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Ability to work a rotating roster.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Orange, is a 62-bed facility that provides a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and psychiatric services. The hospital has 5 Operating Theatres. Apart from general medical and surgical beds, there are 17 licensed rehabilitation beds and a 13-bed mental health unit.
