New opportunities have arisen for Scrub Scout Registered Nurses to join the Perioperative Team on a full-time or part-time basis at a private hospital in Brisbane.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
You'll be supported by great managers, be part of a strong, innovative team, and have the opportunity to grow as you support the patients either during or following their procedures.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Compliance with ACORN standards;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Working collaboratively with all members of the Perioperative team;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Working with Children check (if relevant);
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Specialty nursing experience (desired);
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused.

The hospital, located in the South East of Brisbane, has 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU; the facility provides care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.
