Excellent opportunities exist for highly motivated Registered Nurses with previous experience in Scrub Scout to join the dynamic Scrub Scout team at a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. There are permanent Full-Time and Part-Time roles available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing;
- Previous perioperative experience in scrub scout nursing;
- Experience in the above specialties will be highly regarded;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & organisational skills.

REMUNERATION
$34.39 - $47.55 per hour + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located on the Mornington Peninsula, is a modern and well-equipped 60-bed facility offering a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services. The hospital has three operating theatres, a procedure room, a day surgery unit and a high-dependency unit. The surgical specialties include orthopaedic, plastic and reconstructive, Ear, nose & throat, general, urology and endoscopy.
