Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout | Perth

• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
• Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred, evidence-based care;
• Providing supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates, and students;
• Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team while managing own work time and personal wellbeing;
• Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to achieve desired outcomes;
• Participating in clinical and compliance auditing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• A minimum of two years' full‑time Scrub/Scout experience in Cardiothoracic and/or Neurosurgery;
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of   patients within the perioperative complex;
• Work in accordance with ACORN standards, in order to maintain a high standard of evidence based patient care excellence;
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team;
• Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated to daily activities;
• Have relevant post-graduate qualifications (desirable).
