Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout | Sydney

A new opportunity awaits a proactive and motivated Registered Nurse to join a Scrub Scout Team and perform duties working within Operating Theatres at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital. This role will see you working as part of a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
 

• Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
• Minimum two (2) years Scrub Scout experience;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus;
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
• Ability to work a rotating roster.

The hospital is a 37-bed acute surgical and medical facility with three theatres. It specialises in Orthopaedic, Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive, Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeries, and Dental surgeries. The medical ward accommodates general medical and palliative care admissions.
