Exciting prospects await a motivated Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join the Perioperative Team on a permanent part-time basis with flexible rostering at a private hospital in Sydney. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout, your responsibilities will include:
  • Undertaking peri-operative nursing care in accordance with relevant legislation;
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care;
  • Ensuring the safety of patients and staff;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver high-quality patient care (RN only);
  • Proactively assessing peri-operative nursing care to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient;
  • Documenting patient care objectively, clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner within the patient's medical record, using accepted abbreviations and clinical terminology.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • 18 months' minimum experience as an RN - Scrub Scout;
  • Working with Children check (if relevant);
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Works well independently and within a team;
  • Basic computer skills.

REMUNERATION

$40.26 - $56.54 per hour.
