An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Special Care Nursery Team at a leading private hospital in Sydney on a permanent full-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Special Care Nursery is dedicated to caring for babies born from 32 weeks' gestation, providing exceptional, family-centred care in a supportive and nurturing environment. REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 6 months' recent experience working in Special Care Nursery or NICU;
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure;
- A compassionate, family-centred approach to care;
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practice.

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate of $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital is a 312-bed surgical, medical, and maternity facility located on Sydney's North Shore. It is an acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and obstetric services. The newly renovated maternity unit consists of 40 beds and 7 birth suites. With a focus on personalized care, fully equipped with a Maternity Customer Service Officer, a hospital provides the full circle of maternity care - including the emotional well-being program, an antenatal interview with a midwife, and preparation for birth and specialized parenting programs. Post-delivery, one-on-one baby feeding and settling clinics are provided by experienced clinicians.
