New opportunities have arisen for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of hospital experience to join the established nursing team at a private hospital in Brisbane.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- At least 1 year of acute nursing experience (completed Grad year preferred);
- Paediatric nursing experience (desired, not required);
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Works well independently and within a team;
- Basic computer skills.

The hospital, located in the South East of Brisbane, has 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU; the facility has provided care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.
