Excellent opportunities exist for motivated Registered Nurses to join the professional surgical team at a private hospital in Melbourne. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will work with a fast-paced, short-stay surgical nursing team. You will be assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients. You will be treating all customers with respect and equality whilst meeting all aspects of their care promptly and professionally. You will work effectively in a multidisciplinary team while undertaking additional tasks as directed by the Nurse Unit Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in Surgical/Medical nursing;
- Minimum 2 years' postgraduate experience;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently as required;
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute facility specialising in short stay Orthopaedic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Pain Management and Dental. There are 3 operating theatres, a purpose-built day surgery facility and onsite Radiology and Physiotherapy services. The hospital operates Monday to Friday, closing for weekends, public holidays and Christmas.
