Exciting opportunities have become available for motivated and post-graduate qualified Registered Nurses to join the Coronary Care / High Dependency Ward at a private hospital in Hobart. Full-time and part-time positions are available for suitably qualified candidates.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work in a 25-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) that provides acute cardiac, medical and high dependency surgical care and is supported by the largest private cardiology service in Tasmania.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing evidence-based care, ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Supporting your team members to deliver family-centred care;
- Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Specialised nursing experience in cardiology/critical care;
- Must have a Post Graduate Certificate in cardiology/critical care;
- Working with Vulnerable People Check;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Proficient computer skills.

REMUNERATION
$41.04 to $53.91 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Hobart, is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds providing a unique range of acute services, including general surgery, specialty care in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, breast, colorectal, oral, vascular, plastics, obesity surgery, and select surgery for paediatrics. The facility has a Critical Care Unit with 10 beds and a step-down unit with 15 beds.
