Exciting opportunities are available for dynamic and motivated Registered Nurses to join the supportive Day Surgery team at a private hospital in Southern Sydney. Permanent Part-time positions are available.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role will see you joining a team of passionate professionals driven to provide safe nursing care to each individual patient to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This position will see you providing care to patients across both admissions and discharge from their procedures.
You will work alongside a supportive team of nurses, medical professionals, and clinical support staff.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the successful applicant, you will possess the following attributes:
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Experience in a Day Surgery Unit is essential;
- Any experience within a PACU/Recovery team will be highly regarded;
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service;
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work as a cohesive team member.

REMUNERATION
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital is a modern medical/surgical facility servicing the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including Rehabilitation, a level 2 Intensive Care Unit, and Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The state-of-the-art Day Surgery is a self-sufficient unit providing care to patients from admission through to discharge. The unit provides a full range of endoscopic services, including; upper GI, endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic laser palliation of cancer, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube insertion, insertion of oesophageal prostheses for palliation of oesophageal cancer and liver biopsy.
