Exciting opportunities are now available for experienced Registered Nurses to join the busy Emergency Department at a private hospital in Adelaide in both permanent part-time and full-time capacities.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working cohesively and with initiative within a multidisciplinary team;
- Making timely and accurate decisions in critical medical scenarios;
- Liaising with management, key stakeholders, and all Emergency staff;
- Supporting management and positively embracing change and new initiatives;
- Demonstrating clinical expertise and service excellence within a private healthcare emergency setting;
- Providing patient care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Standards and ACHA policies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA Registration;
- South Australian DHS Working with Children clearance;
- Background in Emergency Nursing (minimum 3 years);
- Must work across all shifts: early and late shifts over a 7-day rotating roster (Nursing hours include several different shifts between the hours of 07:30-24:00);
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Works well independently and within a team;
- Basic computer skills.

REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $38.79-$53.04 per hour.

Located in Adelaide, this private not-for-profit hospital features 230 beds and offers a comprehensive range of specialties, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity care, oncology, orthopaedics, urology, and vascular surgery. The facility is equipped with 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, a fully staffed emergency department, maternity services, and a 24-bed Level 3 Critical Care Unit.
