ROLE OVERVIEW
To thrive in this role, you will bring strong perioperative clinical skills, with proven experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout nurse.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting and upholding high clinical standards within the perioperative department, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care at all times;
- Coordinating and delivering quality nursing care in line with organisational policies, procedures, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse;
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement;
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Hospital's core values;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

REMUNERATION
A base annual salary ranging from $75,436.57 - $99,268.14 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
