Exciting opportunities exist for experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to work across a 76-bed Orthopaedic Surgical Unit at a private hospital in Sydney. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will excel in a fast-paced clinical setting, demonstrating punctuality, dependability, and a proactive attitude toward patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of two years' post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting;
- Experience in general medical, surgical and/or rehabilitation experience required;
- Postgraduate qualifications in the area of specialty are highly regarded.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly base salary ranging from $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Northern Sydney, provides surgical specialties such as cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, colorectal, urology, spinal surgery, ENT, Plastic surgery, vascular surgery, paediatrics, and Robotic Surgery. It has 313 beds and 19 operating theatres, including a hybrid theatre and a 25-bay PACU. The hospital also offers advanced cardiac technology and high-class accommodation standards. The 31-bed Cardiothoracic unit provides specialised care for patients who require cardiology/cardiothoracic, CCU, or ACU interventional cardiology care.
