Registered Nurses – PACU | Sydney

New opportunities await talented and accomplished Registered Nurses with Cardiac Anaesthetic experience, who are willing to join a growing team at a private hospital in Sydney. 

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
• Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes;
• Maintaining detailed patient records and documenting all nursing interventions.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum 2 years' Registered Nursing experience in a theatre environment is required;
• Minimum 12 months experience in Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and facilitating a safe recovery;
• Working with Children check;
• Current AHPRA Registration (no restriction);
• Excellent interpersonal and well-developed communication skills;
• Floor manager experience or willingness to develop in this space would be highly desired.
