New opportunities have arisen for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Scrub Scout Team working within Operating Theatres at a private hospital in Sydney. There are permanent full-time opportunities available.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum two (2) years of Scrub Scout experience;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus;
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Ability to work a rotating roster.
