Registered Nurses – Surgical | Sydney

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care;
• Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
• 2 years of nursing experience in a surgical ward;
• Rotating roster, although night duty is only available if desired;
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required;
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
• Postgraduate qualifications (desirable).

REMUNERATION

The hospital, located in a tranquil suburban pocket northwest of the centre of Sydney, is a 40-bed surgical, medical and rehabilitation facility. Surgical services include ophthalmic, ENT, plastic and reconstructive, orthopaedic, general surgery, dentistry and paediatric surgery.
