Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical and Rehab Wards | Darwin

New possibilities await Senior Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join the established nursing team on the Medical/Surgical and Rehab Wards. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

• Utilizing a structured approach, carrying out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients;
• Implementing planned evidence-based nursing interventions within your scope of practice;
• Demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and procedures, and management of patients seeking outstanding care;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding junior nursing team members;
• Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into service provision;
• Maintaining and adhering to Infection Control policies and practices;
• Complying with organizational policies, procedures and guidelines. 

Additionally, you will be provided with many learning opportunities across a diverse range of nursing skill sets. You will enhance health outcomes by providing safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• Recent nursing experience on a medical/surgical or rehab ward;
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
• Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles.

REMUNERATION

$37.97 - $50.97 per hour.
