A key leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Oncology Team on a permanent full-time basis at a private Oncology and Infusion Centre in Sydney. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this key leadership role, you will work closely with oncology clinicians while ensuring the efficient management of staff and resources, delivering care that aligns with policies, procedures, and best practice standards. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will mentor and support a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives on developing others and upholding high standards of clinical care.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the oncology nursing specialty;
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role;
  • Proven ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources;
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate continuous improvement programs;
  • Ability to apply research findings to clinical practice;
  • Postgraduate studies in nursing leadership (desirable);
  • Sound computer skills in the MS Office suite, including Excel (desirable).

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Located in Western Sydney, this fully accredited Oncology and Infusion Centre opened in August 2013 and provides medical day infusion services, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and specialist drug infusions. The centre is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare through a strong focus on teamwork and patient-centred care.
