A fantastic leadership opportunity awaits a skilled and motivated Nurse Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational management of a Day Oncology Unit at a private hospital in Regional NSW.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources;
- Being a positive mentor and providing clinical leadership and support to your team;
- Working with and supporting other managers within the wider hospital community in achieving excellence in patient outcomes;
- Assisting in shaping organisational strategy, improving procedural service provision, and achieving departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualification and a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
- Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in an acute care environment;
- Demonstrated extensive clinical skills and experience within Oncology nursing;
- Postgraduate qualifications in oncology nursing;
- Recent management experience in an oncology setting;
- Effective management of rostering processes and allocation of duties of both clinical and non-clinical staff;
- Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes;
- WHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and experience in implementing sustainable change.
