Nurse Unit Manager – Day Oncology Unit | Albury Wodonga

Your responsibilities will include:

• Being accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources;
• Being a positive mentor and providing clinical leadership and support to your team;
• Working with and supporting other managers within the wider hospital community in achieving excellence in patient outcomes;
• Assisting in shaping organisational strategy, improving procedural service provision, and achieving departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant qualification and a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
• Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in an acute care environment;
• Demonstrated extensive clinical skills and experience within Oncology nursing;
• Postgraduate qualifications in oncology nursing;
• Recent management experience in an oncology setting;
• Effective management of rostering processes and allocation of duties of both clinical and non-clinical staff; 
• Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes;
• WHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation;
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and experience in implementing sustainable change.
